Aminath took to the helm of Voyages in 2014, with a spring in her steps she rose to the challenges of leading an established and traditional brand with an inspiring legacy in the travel and tourism industry of the Maldives.

She took in her stride to think bigger and faster to ensure that Voyages remains at the forefront of the industry with values which had proven its success for forty years. A pivotal part of her strategy included reorganising the resource allocation, talent management and to prepare the organisation to rise to the challenges of the 21st Century.

Aminath is extremely passionate about people and continues to cultivate an inclusive and engaging environment that encourages individual excellence. A firm believer in multi-generational contribution for success in a country like the Maldives, she champions diversity to drive growth.

With the continued digital transformation of the global travel industry, Aminath accelerated the necessary shifts to embrace the needed technology to provide a seamless experience throughout the customer journey and relationship.
A young woman who started her career nineteen years ago, is leading one of the most trusted businesses in the Maldives. She has achieved this by believing that in leadership, the ability to keep on learning while being flexible to change go hand in hand with success. This is inspired by Indra Nooyi’s quote “Remain a lifelong student, don’t lose that curiosity”.

Fascinated by the possibilities which opens up through travel, Aminath is a keen traveller and she is as much at home in a tent in the outback of Australia or barefoot on a beach in the Maldives.

Nafeela is the calm amidst all the action, seamlessly managing the ties between the people, their well- being and life at Voyages.

She plays a dual role involving the full spectrum of both human resources and general administrative management of Voyages.

Together with the leadership she is pivotal in formulating the strategic direction and planning of human talent management and development. She is the liaison for all respective Government authorities and ensures the continuous upkeep of all regulatory issues.

Nafeela joined Voyages in 1998 as an Administrative Officer and has achieved professional success and progression. She was on the Executive Management of the National Boating Association of Maldives (NABM) from 2016 to 2019.

Igu plays a dual role as Deputy General Manager and heads the Passenger Handling Team in driving the business with specific focus on the continuous improvement and delivery of excellent service for all our customers.

As a people person, Igu contributes extensively supporting the formulation and standardisation of procedures and has a natural tact for simplifying work processes for the team to achieve the desired results.

He is pragmatic in his approach in leading a team continuously on the go, and ensures the safety and comfort of our guests is a priority during their stay in the Maldives.

Igu joined Voyages in 1996 as a Charters Executive and has advanced in his career through various roles. He represents Voyages at Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) as an Executive Board member.

Chamath joined Voyages in 2004 and is instrumental in keeping the business on track. With exemplary skills in analytics, he contributes to enhance the business decisions, coupled with the drive to tackle the daily challenges with focus and dedication.

He ensures that all internal procedures are in place to assure timely and accurate delivery of services.

Shardha is goal-driven and plays an integral role in managing client relationships and the safari operations. With her boundless energy and practical approach, she continuously seeks to improve the services and explores all avenues for business development.

A young lady who joined as a Reservations Assistant in 1995, plays an inspiring role in an organisation which fosters equal growth opportunities. Shardha is an Executive Member of the National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM).

Mahu’s practical experience of managing a complex operation enables the smooth delivery of services. His analytical and business planning skills, stems from the strategic insight and knowledge of the aviation industry that he has gained over the years.

He leads an exceptionally competent team who are certified by renowned and reputed Airlines that trusts us to ensure safe and secure operations.

Mahu is a founding member of Airlines Operating Community and is actively engaged in policy liaising with the government to implement IATA standards within Maldives Customs and other airport related services.

Mahu joined Voyages in 1997 as a Trainee to the Charter Department at that time. He is exemplary in setting the bar high for Voyages in continuous improvement of the services.

Shakila joined Voyages as Sales Manager in 2013 and has played an instrumental role in expanding ticketing services offered to our Corporate and Independent travellers.

Courteous and friendly she ensures personalised service to fulfill all travel requirements.

She has cultivated positive relationships with our partners and clients that are vital for the success of our business.

Viraj joined Voyages in 2010 and has a proven and demonstrated history of working with all major Airlines in the Maldives.

Skilled in negotiation, sales and pricing strategy, and leads a diverse team from five different locations, Maldives, Srilanka, India, Italy and United Kingdom. This ensures unparalleled service and support to our partners and customers.

Strong and successful in managing relationships, together with his sales and marketing experience he is able to deliver bottom line results.
